Hey kids: why not make today a parent-free day! Ditch your parents and spend the day ripping around our big mountain with our awesome professional coaches. You'll ride and slide in groups of similar age and ability, with the same instructor every Sunday for 6 weeks.
If you're a child, you ski or snowboard and are a regular visitor to Treble Cone, TC Riders and Sliders is perfect for you. You can enhance your skiing and riding skills, explore new terrain, freeski & board, and have fun with your friends in a safe environment. every week has a different focus and the porgramme will provide a well balanced mix of ski improvement, freeskiing, ski racing and fun activities on skis and boards. We have groups for all abilities and for kids from 4-12 years old. Lunch is not provided but will be supervised
A TC Family Mountain Package is a great option for local families, as well as your family season passes, the package includes Riders and Sliders for all children aged 4-12 years.
NEW in 2012 are our specialised R&S groups for advanced skiers (level 5 or 6 only). If your child would like to spend more time working on his freeskiing or ski racing skills, we will offer two specialist options-R&S Intro to freeskiing and R&S Intro to Ski Racing. (see below) These groups will join our seasonal freeski and ski racing programmes on 6 Sundays (same dates as the regular R&S). Included in this advanced programme is entry into the Mini Mountain Open (Freeski) or the TC Interfield Race (Ski race).
After an on snow assessment on day one participants might be moved to our regular R&S programme if they are not at a suitable level.

What are the R&S Intro to Ski Racing / Intro to Freeskiing options?
These specialized Riders and Sliders groups for advanced skiers (level 5 and 6) will participate in our Seasonal Freeski / Ski Race Programmes on the 6 Sundays when Riders and Sliders is scheduled. The goal is to offer more specialized coaching in these fields without having to commit to a full seasonal programme. This option costs $75 on top of the regular Riders and Sliders price and will also include the entry fee to the Mini Mountain Open for the Freeskiers and the entry to the TC Interfield race for the ski racers.
